Broward College May 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi guys!! Haven't seen any threads for May 2018 so I figured why not start one!! I just submitted my application for Broward's May 2018 LPN-RN program so anxiously waiting for the deadline. While I wait I'm attending Keiser to retake A&P 1 and lab to boost grade up! What's everyone doing to pass the time?

Hi. I understand at this point it's beyond repetitive but do you think acceptance notifications will be out by the end of this week or the next? I know you have a min of 30 days from the cut off, my mind just won't rest thinking about it. And where should we be checking exactly? The BC email service, The my BC under the application status, or our Personal Email, or maybe the snail mail? Again sorry for being repetitive but I can't find a solid date based off past years blogs.

Every year is different, decisions don't really go out on the same date every year. It all depends on the number of applicants, etc. to how long it takes for us to send out decisions.

Thank you for this info.

Well it's Friday after 5 and I just did my last check-in lol. I was hoping we'd know before the weekend but I think that window has closed. Have a great weekend everybody!!!

í ½í¸ž I think we're at 21 business days. Having 7 points, my spot completely depends on who else applied. I'm in the process of applying to Chamberlain too in case this doesn't work out but the extra time for this decision is making it so much more stressful í ½í¸« id really prefer to stay local and go to BC.

Does anyone else on the lower end of the point scale have a back up plan, especially considering it gets even more competitive in the fall. I don't want to waste time retaking a class at Keiser when I fully comprehend English and anatomy... I'm trying to get in the field as fast as possible but I want to get my msn eventually so I want to pick the best possible path. GAHHH SO STRESSFUL lol

I felt the same way about taking the classes at Keiser. However I soon realized I should have done it a lot sooner and would have been in the program a long time ago. I would say take the classes there but if money is tight then try completing RN program at another school. Or consider doing the LPN route as well. At least you'd be working as a nurse.

@MegEl

I have 8 point. Broward College is my first choice. It's clearly to late to apply anywhere in the summer. Fall deadline is in may so for myself I totally am focusing on broward until further notice.

Never doubt yourself.

Anyways have a good weekend everyone

Ps. If things don't work out for me then I will focus on applying somewhere in fall before the deadline

Hi everyone, I have 6 point (3.09 gpa). I pray that I get in this term, chamberlain will be my back up plan but I rather go to BC. Chamberlain is crazy expensive and I want to enjoy life after school. So hopefully I get in this semester. Hopefully we find out soon because my anxiety is on a thousand right now.

You're definitely not the only one lol. I'm hoping today will be the day! Or even this week. I can't wait to start and complete the program!!!

Same! I am SO ready to start this next chapter! Keeping my fingers crossed extra tight today lol

Good Morning,

Sorry to bother you, but any estimated time frame that the decisions will come out?
