Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

I just checked and mine haven't been added yet -.-

Yea I applied last term and my new points from my retake is in already, I thought everyone's were updated too...

hello how are you? Welcome to the thread and the long waiting game. Hopefully we will find out next week before the school goes on Spring Break. When I applied for January I had only 6 points 3.0 gpa. Alternates had a 3.09 gpa so I was very close. I retook a class at Keiser in November which helped me raise my gpa up to a 3.5 for this term with 11 points. 10 points should be good. Just think if we would've had these points for January we would have for sure been in the program for January. Normally over the years less people apply for May, but with how the last two terms being so competitive we really don't know how this term will turn our. I've been trying to stay hopeful. Try not to over think it will drive you crazy. I know it did for me last term.

Hi iwillbeanurse2012, I have been following this thread and since we are now playing the waiting game, I have become extremely nervous. I read that you applied previously and this is your second time applying. If you don't mind me asking, are you applying with the same GPA you applied with previously or did you improve inbetween? I am asking because a 3.5 is not bad and I was under the impression that they accept as low as 3.1. I am applying with a 3.45, 10 points :/ not the best, but now I'm nervous that it's not nearly good enough. I wish that actually calculated the HESI score and other factors, but it is what it is. Anyhow, again, this is me overthinking and worrying that I will be set back even further in my path of pursuing to be a Midwife. I'm sure we are all there emotionally right now. :/

i wish we had more to go on then speculation. it sucks we don't have a for sure time frame of finding out anything.

Yea it sucks. We will have so much to do in such little time. March is literally next week. May will be here before we know it. I'm a planner and I need to figure out so many things. Especially daycare for my youngest child. My grandmother asked me today. Well what is your schedule going to be so I can help where needed. Thanks grandma, but I don't know if I got in yet lol.

I'm actually in the same boat as you. I attained a Bachelors in Chemistry and have now decided to pursue nursing years later. I plan on applying for scholarships through BCC specifically for Nursing Students once we are accepted, and also for the workforce scholarship and what ever other free money I can qualify for to lessen my out of pocket cost.

Getting help financially is a challenge when you already have a bachelors. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance!

Just a reminder, all paperwork (HESI scores, transcripts, etc.) must be received by February 15, 2017 in order to be considered for the upcoming May 2017 program. Decisions are expected to be out toward the end of February, early March.

So if everything goes accordingly we will have our decision WITHIN the next 2 weeks!

I am just as excited as everyone else, this is my 3rd time applying, the first time I had 2.6=2 points, the second time I had a 3.06=6 points, now I have a 3.36=9 points.

I know that everything works in Gods perfect timing! So I'm praying that my time is now!!

Cant wait to meet our class May 2017, I'm a South Campus hopeful :)
