Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

ok well I guess it doesn't seem that bad. Time management is KEY!

It depends per class but I have never had less that 8 chapters to read for one test. The most I have had were about 18 chapters but most of them were only a 4 or 5 pages long and "easy" material. So it can be a lot of "easy" material or a small amount of "hard" material. It all depends. It is manageable though.

Alright everyone - this is it!!!!! Good luck to everyone! Please also remember, if you don't get in..it is OK!!! Keep at it. Many many many people don't make it.. like me.. this is my 3rd time applying! When I found out I didn't make the Jan cut I was so depressed and wanted to give up..but I didn't! It was like no time and I'm here again! You can do this! We can do this!! Get some sleep everyone, Feb will fly by if you don't pay attention!

Absolutely! That's what I noticed from the beginning. It took me some time to get use to it and become disciplined but I worked it out lol I just stay to myself and study a lot. The program doesn't last forever so I know if I sacrifice my time now I'll finish faster and not have to retrack lol This is what keeps me going. Oh and the fact that once I graduate I will be going on a well deserved LONG vacation :)

I know exactly how you feel I felt the same way when I didn't get accepted for Jan. If you don't mind me asking how many points do you currently have?

I don't have any points yet, there was an issue with my application, but it was solved, my gpa is around 3.9 if I'm not mistaken, and hesi average of 80. I've been all over the places trying to pursue this career, I ran away from private institutions, BCC is my only choice. It took me 10 years to realized that I wanted to do nursing and also been on and off from school. We all have a story...Hopefully this one will be with a happy ending.

Ladies and gents the day is finally here! The day we all have been waiting for.. Within a few weeks we should be receiving our acceptance letters. I pray that this is our time especially for the ones who have applied multiple times. Lets try to keep everyone motivated like we've been doing. I know this site really helps me to pass the time. There are some really great people on here and I hope I have the chance to meet you. Good luck and fingers crossed.

Hi everyone!

Did you miss me? Just kidding! I have been a ghost over the last few weeks. (Although I have been quickly scanning the boards every couple of days to make sure the information that was posted is correct!) It has been very busy in the Health Science Admissions offices over the last few weeks. We are working hard to get all of your applications updated (and inputted into our system) before decisions will go out.

I know everyone is nervous and excited but please try and refrain from emailing me to check your status. You can monitor your application status online through your MYBC account. If you have legitimate questions, of course, please email me. Be patient with my response.

For those who have had their applications moved from January to May, please remember if you do not get accepted this term, you will have to REAPPLY for all future terms. We are no longer moving applications to the next term.

PLEASE keep monitoring your BC email addresses! That is the ONLY way we will notify you of our decisions or if anything is missing from your application.
