Broward College May 2017

Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

Guys I need your HELP, my application is on hold. I have a 3.9 GPA and 80 score on the Hesi. Here is my situation, I took Anatomy 10 yrs ago and when I originally transferred my credits they accepted it, It showed in my degree audit, and I had the Ok by my advisor to apply to the program, I now went to check my credits and Anatomy shows as not satisfied, I don't know why they make this so complicated, I think I'm not going to be able to start, and I may have to change my major and give up on my dream :( , I intentionally wanted to apply with MDC, but they did not let me. So I transferred to Broward. I don't know why after they accepted everything now it's showing not satisfied on my degree audit. I have to wait until Friday to meet with an Academic Adviser.

I've heard of most schools having the policy that you have to have certain core classes completed within ten years of graduation or entering into programs to have it be valid. The way they see it, anything after ten years would have to be taken again in order for the information to be fresh in your mind and usable for your degree. I've heard of people having to take basic courses like English and math after YEARS because of these rules.

They were evaluated and accepted it. I made an appointment with and advisor tomorrow online. I hope this gets resolved.
