Broward College May 2017

Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

So for all the future nurses that's experiencing the issue with the points. I got a call back from the nursing department. Nothing was resolved today, the person that they need to get in contact with was in meetings all day. North Admission said hopefully she will know something tomorrow.

I think I might be screwed for this term. They might not be able to get my transcript in time. They have to send my official transcript by mail but I can pick up my unofficial transcript. But it might not make it in time for the deadline. I'm so sad. :( Sorry to vent, just feeling pretty bummed.

Can you pick up the official yourself and mail it yourself? I've done that and it seems to go faster.

Im pretty sure you can pick up the official they will give it to you in a sealed envelope and you take it yourself. I did that when I applied for January term.

Yes, it was the official. It comes in a sealed envelope with their school seal.

You were able to pick up the official one? It wasn't the unofficial?

Thank you for the quick responses. I truly appreciate it. I'm going tomorrow to Keiser. The nerves are so bad right now. But you all are what is keeping me sane. Again thank you!

No prob. I would see if you can walk in over to BCC yourself also. I was able to from past schools. Also, call the nursing admissions and let them know your transcript has to be evaluated. I was told they are averaging 5 weeks to evaluate them but nursing applicants can have them try to evaluate it sooner bc of the deadline. Don't just hand it in and hope. Make sure the nursi g dept knows its there. Good luck

no because its not letting me share it. I tried to send it as an attachment and I cant. I thought i sent you a PM. It may be a lot, but you may have to go back into the other forums from last year and try to find. Thats originally how i got. Sorry. I will try to see if I can find another way.
