Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.
I'm excited, everyone! My session is scheduled for Friday at 1pm. I'm really hoping to get in to Central since it truly is the only campus near me. I do hear bad things about it but I try not to focus on that and keep it moving. Hopefully I'm quick enough and the seats don't fill up in the blink of an eye! I really can't express how much this means to me... I started off at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers and my parents couldn't afford housing so I had to leave after the first semester. I took a few classes at BC in the mean time and then went to FAU. FAU decided to stop taking traditional track students (and not inform me after taking a few semesters there) and only do direct admission so I had no option but to leave FAU. During that time, my dad developed stage 4 renal carcinoma so I wasn't able to finish my application for FAU's last traditional track pool because taking care of my dad became my life. My dad passed away in March of last year and he was my biggest motivator. But right now I know he's helping me make it through all my obstacles. He is still my biggest fan and motivator. We are all going to make it through this and become phenomenal nurses. I know it. My dad always said "You can do anything you set your mind to," and that is what I live by daily. Thanks for reading!
Two quick questions:
1. Is there a particular edition of the Perry Potter book we should look for?
2. Does BC Central still accept the CAE classes (with the exception of BLS) to be done through CEUfast.com? I wouldn't do them until after the preadmission session I just want to make sure that it a viable option for the rest of the CAE courses (have to start watching expenses now lol).
Do you have facebook? After a while this site starts to dwindle down? If you do our page is BC May Nursing program 2017
the edition for the Perry book is the 9th
not sure if they are accepting the cae's from from that source.

ummm i know in the past they accepted them from ceufast. Not sure if anything changed as of yet
I don't have FB, I just know in the past they have been accepted and are FAR FAR cheaper ($30 for all certs except BLS) than the options at BC. The are FBN accredited and have a current valid ID. I just don't want to go that route if they no longer accept those certificates.
You just made me cry, I'm sure your Dad is very proud of you watching you from heaven.
