Broward College hopeful for May 2013 Nursing Program

Published

I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

Well that was stressful! It wouldn't let me register, so I had to rush to car to get to campus while frantically trying to get a hold of health Science. Cleared it up right as I got to campus so I rushed in to type in classes. Had to try a few times since labs kept filling up. Finally found an open one and registered.

On plus side since I was at campus I picked up 2 polls and 2 scrub tope.

How much were the scrubs?

Scrubs 25 polo I think was 27.99

Polo?

Yes polo shirt. Collar with 2 Buttons. I thin we can wear them to class instead of scrubs.

Hope everyone got the campus/times they wanted.

Got into NORTH!!! Glad this stress is over!!!

Another thing checked off:) I only have to do the physical and immunizations! Does anyone know a good place to get them done? Looking around for good prices.

I went to lab doc they had a package for $149 which included all the titters the td shot ppd skin test and physical

Thanks kbkiss. That's not too bad. Did you get the hep shot done as well?

I've never seen a nursing student wear a polo.

If you guys need the book list check out the link below. Click the campus and scroll down to the class.

Yes I got the hep b because my immunity was low, they have it for $50 I think but I got mines done at the health department for $39, I had to also take the MMR again because of low immunity.
