I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!
I received a second email which did not specify North and also did not have ref#s. I noticed that both North and South indicate 58-59 seats per class on the online registration page. They stated only 45 at South. Hmmm. The South email said to get your forms package turned in by 4/22! I might need to request an extension already.
We're going to have a great group at North campus. I think you can apply to switch campuses. If someone is held back or fails out or quits, then there is the possibility. I think people usually want to stay with their cohort, though. They also said no online available this summer. I wonder if we are able to take online classes during other semesters. I might want to try it if all goes well this summer.
I am waiting until April 30 to get my books because of the bookstore rules. BC offers a book package that sounds good including free online versions of books.
BTW, I am a notary public if you find yourself in a pinch. Only available around noon at North campus on M,W,R.
Yes that due date is not much time especially those of us who have to get medical records from our normal doctors. Mine was booked up until May 5th. I had to explain the situation to them so they could get me an apt next week.
Did they provide a full book list yet? Only one I knew about was the Perry & Potter Nursing Fundamentals (Heavy) and the accompany study book.
Also looks like they request all this info every 8weeks. kind of a pain. So I have to go to my doctor each year for a copy of my immunizations -_-

Are you doing the generic program?
