I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!
As we head into this Monday morning, lets be sure we are stretching our fingers out...we don't need anyone pulling a tendon hitting those refresh buttons people..
Heck yeah. I did an extensive warm-up regimine this morning for my right hand so that I can handle the rapid fire refresh button smashing.
Just called the Health Science admission dep... They told me that we should know something by Feb 15th...and we have to respond the admittance email within 24 hrs !!!!!!
I'm thinking don't hold your breath until the 15th. It doesn't matter anyway. It starts in May regardless of when you find out if you're in... or not. I'm going to have to do all the CEs. It seems like they usually do orientation on Tuesday. That would be very bad.
It's usually before the 15th. There's a lot to do once you've been accepted and everyone's life is in a holding pattern until they know! Well. At least that's why I want to know ASAP
I think my family wants to know more than me so they won't have to hear my non-stop worrying and whining...and abuse of the word "if" in air quotes..and "obviously you don't understand how big of a deal this is.." Yeah, I probably owes some apologies..

Relaxing and studying over the weekend, knowing that there's nothing to do but wait till Monday at the earliest.
