Hey there current BC Central Nursing Students,
I am a new nursing student starting at Central Campus of BC in January. We had our nursing orientation meeting today where they discuss the classes, books, and do a bunch of paperwork. However when the lady came in to discuss the possible scholarships for the 2nd semester, she either made it sound as if none of the Central campus professors are from any memorial hospitals but all from Broward hospitals.. either that or I misunderstood something.
I had a classmate in Micro currently enrolled at Central campus in process II who told me that there are a few random professors that work at different Memorial hospitals including even Memorial Regional, and that it would be an option to switch with say another student that did not want to drive as far when the professors are assigned.. who is correct or am I completely off..
any insight?
Honestly, after all the stories that i heard, i hope i make it into the may program at north. All these horror stories are crazy, and to be honest with you, people need to pass this nursing program, especially in todays economy. I applied for north and that's where i want to go, even if i have to take the tri-rail 2 hours before class.
OMG Jonathan, don't travel 2hrs to school!!!!!! you will be so tired that you won't study well.
If you are close to south campus, go there!
it's doable!!!!!
yes, there are horror stories-- but by your name I think that you are a dude, and let me tell you-- the teachers in south campus love guy students!!!!
it's close to your home, and as long as you study and put your time in, you will make it to the end too!
Thanks Sunray! iwas getting worried for a second.. I would love to work for Memorial.. i like the facility and the people..
My mom Worked at Jackson for 30 years plus and she say that Jackson is the best and they have better 401 k and retirement etc. and Memorial doesn't offer all that good stuff.. not sure if she is correct bout Memorial..any comments.
