Hi Everybody,
I wanted to start a thread for all soon to be, current, and previous BC students to post the best books that they used while in the program. I specifically am looking for the books that helped you with Med-Surg and Psych. I know they give us a little book list, but there are plenty of supplemental books that are good to study from to. Please remember to put what class they are good for. Here's my recommendations:
FOR ALL CLASSES
Saunders Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN by Linda A. Silvestri
Process I and II
Nursing Fundaments: Reviews and Rationales by Mary A. Hogan
Fundamentals Success by Nuget
Process II
Fluids and Electrolytes: Reviews and Rationales by Hogan
I'm still in Process II so that's all I've got for now.
Word of advice to incoming students, before you register ASK SOMEBODY about the instructors or go on to some of those rate my professor sites to get the info you might wanna know before you get stuck with for 8 weeks...
PS I'm at South
BTW- I bought the bundle this year and have used all the books included. Looks like they actually sold us what we really needed this time.
Also don't buy the lab supply kit until you KNOW you pass Process I. You don't want to be out of 138 bucks and don't buy it from somebody else cause they just might sell you a partially used lab kit. That happened to one of my classmates and he was stuck like chuck in lab trying to explain to the instructor what happened. It was kinda funny though :lol2:

Hello everyone,
I decided to go on a different path. Not sure if its allowed on here or if anyone knows where I can post about selling my bundle of books I purchased for nursing along with dryed cleaned uniforms. * broward college students
