Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I'm starting this thread for students looking to start(ing), and (or) finishing there pre's by spring of 2013 at Broward College. Also for those who are entering (or) looking to enter the Nursing Program in Fall 2013.
We are exactly one year away from this program. So tell me what classes are you taking or have left?
I have Fall Math Intermediate, A&P II lab only, and Computers (need 6 credits to get loans.) Winter College Algebra or Statistics and Chem 1032& Chem lab
Summer Microbiology and Micro Lab.
Yesterday I visted advisement at South, and when I was leaving I got a wake up call that now I will only live, eat, breath nursing school. I never felt this way before. Once me and my advisor went over my Education Plan I started to feel that school going to get harder. Hey I can do this and so can you.
** Let me know your thoughts guys. Until....
I noticed someone posted they were taking the DEP4000 or something which I know is the psychology course...i know this is not required for Broward College but, I do see that for other schools such as Palm Beach College Nursing this is a course requirement. Is anyone else taking a psychology course in case they don't get into Broward ? or just taking it to boost the GPA. I was going to register for it online but ..i don't know if I would be taking on too much and wasting my time on a course that we don't need. Ugh decisions decisions. I am downloading a HESI book on my Kindle now to start studying. From what I see on Quizlet..the anatomy part doesn't seem too tough, a lot of it is from Anatomy 1 for sure.

Hey Yankeesgirl907, I'm registered for DEP2004, only because I plan on getting my BSN after completing the ASN program. This is my reason for taking DEP2004, I'm not sure of anyone else's reason. In addition to that BC only weighs the GPA for the required pre-req courses:ENC1101, BSC 2085, BSC 2085L, BSC 2086, BSC 2086L, *including a general education math course (Area 5) and MCB2010 Microbiology, and MCB2010L,
Hello, New to the forum and I will also be applying for the August 2013 term. Im scheduled to take the Hesi January 24th...I was wondering if anyone can provide some info about the test and good study guides. I currently have the Hesi Admission Assessment Exam Review, but i dont know if thats enough. Thank You
Hi , Is the HESI A2 test available to take at any given time or is it only specific dates during the year it could be taken. I only need that and to finish the CHM1032. I plan to apply for the August /Fall semester of 2013 without the Micro..while I wait, I am going to the the Micro with the lab just to have it . I bought two books for the HESI from Amazon. One is the general HESI entrance exam which they say is the newer version of the Evolve Reach book and the other one is for the math part which I heard is an awesome book for the math part.

They give you a list of dates & times and let you choose one. Good luck!

I can suggest that you use Quizlet.com, you can almost drive yourself crazy just looking up vocab words because there is so much! You did really great on all the other portions. How was your overall experience with the exam more specially Math and A&P. Would you say that the study guide helped with the math portion of the exam? Was the time allowed more then enough to complete the exam? Also, since your saying that you plan to retake the Reading and Vocab, does'nt the 6 month apply? Thanks.
