Broward College August 2012

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

I deferred from May and my status says decision deferred...I wonder when emails will go out ..

I read a thread for may 2012 and came across a post where you stated your status originally said not accepted- seats available. I was wondering how long did that message appear before it changed to preadmission

I got the denied when the decision was first given out but then I got the pre admission email in early march

So there IS still hope for some of us... After seeing the "not accepted seats available" status I just pray things will look up for me once the emails are sent. I really want this...

Yea there is hope for some. Just don't give up. I almost gave up when I saw "not accepted seat available" but god works in mysterious ways and it'll all work out for the best :) good luck to all of you.

How many points did you have if you don't mind me asking? I'm very confused by all of this...

I got 17 points.

I have 12 points I would of had 17 but they did not add the points for Hosa

Did anyone call admissions this morning? Did anyone get accepted?

I called no one is accepted yet. They just started changing statuses yesterday. To not accepted :(. Thats what I was told when I called.

Hi. When should we know something for the August 2012? My status just says Application in Review. Do we wait until the 30 days is up? Or should we call and check on our acceptance?

Your status will eventually change on or before June 15th. They start changing some status yesterday so hopefully yours will change soon.

So pretty much it sounds like only denied students have been notified? I was denied but I'm glad I was first to be notified and get that anxiety out the way :(
