Broward College August 2012

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

@sugarbianca thanks for the info! I just ordered the fundamentals 7th ed just to start reading now. I will probably get the 8th ed when school starts.

I actually got the 6th edition from the library, most of the basic info is the same the editions keep changing to fix grammatical and spelling errors and to update changing medical info.

No not in the program yet I start in august I was accepted into the may 2012 class but deffered to August.

Dosage Calculations (A Ratio-Proportion Approach) by Gloria Pickar

In January they used the 3rd edition I think it's still the same, in any case you can use this version to practice, I got it at the library at try putting it on hold.

In your previous post about the list of books which someone posted that you need and don't need, this book was listed as you don't need it. Do you know which campus that person went to? I'm not saying that I'm going to base my book purchases on what someone else stated, but if I can save some money here and there by not purchasing a book that was useless that would help.

I'm getting anxious to start and hope the new book list comes out soon!!! :yeah:

I thinks she was at South, Someone told me that the lecturer for maths gives most of the notes so you hardly use the text. You could wait until the first day of class to see what they say though.

I haven't heard much talk about the AUG 2012 term. How many points does everyone have? How does everyone think the applicant pool is? June 15 seems way to far away.
