Broward College August 2011

Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?

Idk it depends on what schedule we have. I want to work though so hopefully we have a flexible schedule.

I'll be working two days a week depending on my schedule. Plus I took out a loan, because I won't be able to work full time

This is a much better waiting game :) I just ordered some of the books from amazon. I bought 4 and have 4 more to go.

how much are those books? I believe BC has a program where you pay $1500 and they give you all the books you need for the program. You're ahead of the game, good for you:yeah::yeah::yeah:

I plan on cutting back at work and working only two 12hrs shifts. School wil be my priority; not even a job is going to prevent me from graduating BC's RN program on time. God will make a way for the bills collecters. hehehehe.... lol:D

You register for classes at whatever campus of your choice. First come, first serve.......That's my understanding of how it works.

Is everyone working throughout the program? I just applied for a loan

I don't plan to work until after I successfully complete the first term.

Does anyone know when we can expect to graduate? I'm thinking May 2013??? Trying to plan out some important life events, lol
