Broward August 2015

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

I know we should wait until July 10th we'll probably get more info but anyone know where to get these done. So some of us can do them?

I did most of mine online through BC

Go to ceu fast.com you can get them done there fast and cheap my friend who is in program now she took them on there

I did mine on CEUFAST.COM its cheaper than BC and at checkout promo code BROWARD you get $5 off so total $24.99 for all the CEU's or you can do them through the BC.

How long do these classes take to complete ?

Each class varies in price at BC some are $10 some are a little more you can look them up for yourself just put the class # for example look up HSC0691. It supposed to take you whatever time it takes you to read the material and take the quiz at the end. For example HIV is 4 credit hours ( the more credit hours the more material you have to read) I think TB is 2 credit hours so it's not that long.

yes all the classes are $24.99. I just went to the link on the BC website its no longer there. I wonder if they still want them. http://www.broward.edu/admissions/Documents/HSPrerequisites.pdf

Hepatitis

Domestic violence

prevention of medical errors

Florida laws and rules for nursing

and of course you need CPR for health care providers
