Brookline College Accelerated Nursing Program

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hey! Is there anyone attending Brookline College (in Phoenix, AZ) new accelerated bachelor's degree program. I plan to start it May 9th and would like to know anyone's opinion on the school?

I start august 31st as well, are you ladies in the clinical portion of the program or finishing up the pre-reqs ??

We do have clinicals our first term, off the top of my head I think in Nursing Fundamentals, but mostly they are lecture hours to start.

Specializes in Oncology.

I am taking one pre-req (stats) and am also taking Intro to Prof. Nursing, Fundamentals of Nursing and Health Assessment (I think). I don't start clinicals until my second semester because of stats. Looking at the classes, my first two semesters are not going to be as many credit hours as the remaining semesters.

I will be in the 3 nursing classes, as well as 3 more. Can't wait to meet you and everyone else in our cohort!

Best,

I know this is a thread with July last post, I transferred to Brookline from another program that was disastrous, and I start at Brookline in Jan 2016. The only prereqs I have to take are patho and stats and the rest are the nursing core classes. Granted I took some of the nursing core classes in the other program, but Brookline won't accept prior nursing core credits for the BSN program, much like other programs. It will be good review and will hopefully bring my GPA above 3.76 where it is now. I'll be at the ABQ campus, hope to meet some of you there, we might be in a semester together, should be good, and getting our BSN's is better.

Email me, so we can talk more about the program: [email protected]

I got accepted and I start January 2016 Cohort too! I'm coming in with most of my pre req's but I need 2 more. Can't wait I'm super excited!

Congratulations! I just found out about the school lastweek. I've questions regarding the program. Can you send me an email: [email protected].

Thank you, I emailed u

See you at orientation on the 22nd! It's a long orientation maybe cause we start right into the nursing courses?

Hi congratulations on you starting! I don't know about u but I'm excited and overwhelmed at the same time. I was told orientation is from 9a-12p. I didn't think that was too bad.

It is overwhelming, especially coming from a nursing program of only 2 classes to one with 4 or 5 classes! At least this program is in the basic cohort with NM nursing programs statewide. I had to look at my acceptance letter again, mine says 9 to 4PM for orientation. I got clinical information and paperwork too, did you? Thats why I was wondering if maybe orientation was 9 to 4 cause of the clinical portions? Maybe my schedule was changed, hmmmm
