Is anyone applying to Brookhaven for the Spring 2010 semester? How many points do you have? I take the Hesi on Sept 17th... worried about the A&P portion.
I have 14.1 points without the HESI points. I have all the classes and support courses completed with the exception of End of Life Issues (couldn't get in because it was full).
Has anyone taken the exam - was it terrible? I haven't taken A&P in about 7 years, so I am nervous about it. I am aiming for a 91 on the HESI...

Hey all, I am just trying to update all the threads for spring 2010 as I thought everyone would like to know that A.C. at Brookhaven told me yesterday that admission status emails will go out early next week. Good luck to all!!!
The e-mails that A.C. said would go out next week will say "yay" or "nay" on acceptance??? Or are they similar to the application status e-mails that we received earlier this month? I don't think I can stand to wait until December 11th! I can't imagine why on earth it would take that long! I'm so nervous!!!
When I talked to her on Friday she said that they would be sending out admission status emails; "yay or "nay". She said, "emails would go out early next week" so I am taking that to mean Monday (which didn't happen) or Tuesday (today). I am so hoping they come out today!!!! I too am so nervous!!! I want to get my email but I know once I see it I am not going to want to open it for fear of rejection....going crazy!!!!!:hdvwl:
I feel the same way Bradibear! I noticed on a previous post that you have 31.4 points. I have almost the exact same score. Good luck to you! Crossing my fingers for happy e-mails from A.C.!
You two are both going to get in... bradibear and chelesa. Hands down - you will get in. I have pretty much read all posts related to brookhaven and anyone with over 28 points usually gets in, and you two have exceeded that.
Has anyone received an email or by chance heard anything from the nursing office regarding admissions? I was told emails would go out early this week and it is now wednesday and I have yet to hear! I guess I am being a little impatient!!!
I just tried calling A.C. to hopefully get an answer on when emails would go out; I got a recording so she is either at lunch or perhaps swamped working on all of our stuff
I emailed her asking when emails will go out; if I get a response back I'll post the info asap.
I called yesterday and all she said was that emails will go out sometime this week, I tried to get a specific date with no luck. Guess we'll just have to keep waiting....
