Brookhaven College Spring 2015 Applicants

Hello everybody! It's a little early, but I thought I'd start a thread for the Brookhaven Spring 2015 start date. How's everybody doing? :)

Were all going to be classmates soon so might as well get to know each other! Last semester I heard of someone getting in the program with 24 points. She was a reserve, but in the end someone denied acceptance to the program and she got in so I'm sure were all in!

That's a good point. There are going to be applicants who are applying to multiple programs and may be accepted but choose to attend somewhere else.

It's so disappointing to feel like your so close and not get the 90% on DC. I was definitely there and the thought of waiting another semester to apply was so disappointing. Glad my experience helped others!

Yeah! Because had you not posted about your experience, I would have sat out a whole semester! I totally thought it was me.. not the module. But behold.. it was the module! So, thanks for stepping up and mentioning what you did about your experience. I appreciate it SO very much! I looked at the thread for Spring 2014 and they were having the same issues. When I met with Dr. Meyer, he was pretty much at his wits end with the module! He told me that they are no longer using the DC module through Elsevier after this cycle because he is very unhappy with it. He also stated that the individuals there aren't very helpful when an issue arises. He said he would create his own DC module and exams. I am just happy that we all got through it one way or another!!!!!!!!

So Anybody heard anything about how many applications were submitted?

Hi everyone, I am applying too for Spring 2015. I was denied last application so hopefully this time I will get in. I am finished in all of my pre requisites and my Hesi is 86 so I am still thinking to retake it or not.

How many points did you apply with last application?

Does anyone know when the email goes out for the invite for the interview??? On the timeline on the website, I see where it states on the 17th, we will be notified of how many points we have. Then it drops down to November 10-14th when the interviews and writing samples will be held. No dates in between except for the dispute period. I am anxious and I need to know specifics! LOL!

Yes they send out an e-mail a couple of days prior just asking if the e-mail is correct and it confirms the points. Days later an e-mail is sent stating your invited for an interview.

@ intricate. .....name change noted. Don't even drag me into that anxious state. Here I am trying to stay calm but stalking this forum for any new information...lol. Let's enjoy this 2 weeks break .

Yeah, I figured that much! Was looking for more of a specific date or like ballpark. But, thanks for responding!

LOL! Haha, no ma'am! I've got to map this timeline out! Must be nice to not already be in an anxious state. I have been there since the day I dropped off my application, haha!

contact Nancy Summers @[email protected]. Last application period she was the person who sent e-mails about interviews. She sent out an e-mail 3 days prior just asking for confirmation if the e-mail provided was correct.
