Thought I'd start a forum for those who are applying for Brookhaven's ADN program Fall 2018. Has anyone started on these particular things? --->

-prerequisites

-HESI A2

-online nursing information session

-critical thinking exam

-dosage calculations class

I'm right there with you! I applied in February with 34.33 points praying I can get an interview but more worried after the extended application period.

Good Luck NatHorton from what I see under the dcccd.edu browse for classes section under the classes that we would be taking in the fall for the nursing program it looks like they have enough openings for about 90 students. So I think they may be taking a few more student than normal. I am not saying they are taking 90 but compared to the other semesters they definitely do have more seat open for the incoming Fall 2018 class so I wouldn't lose hope and plus from what I gather from the people it showed signed up for critical thinking exam it looked like only about 30 people registered for it. I know for certain two who did not do well on it so they couldn't even apply. So I wouldn't lose hope.

I asked Barbara if they were talking more and she said no but maybe they changed their minds. Fingers crossed! We should know tmrw!

Did you reapply this application cycle?

Yes, I applied for the fall. I'm expecting to get an interview again since I have decent points. I ended as third alternate in the spring but seems that no body dropped out. We'll see what happens this time.

Super nervous! I agree, at this point it's def not a matter of want, it's a NEED to get in lol

So if we do not receive an invitation for an interview tomorrow, will we get an email confirming that we will not have an interview (or a denial email) to the program?

I think we get an email either way.

Yes you get an email even if not selected for the interview process. I was one of the unlucky ones last application cycle to get that email.

I am so nervous! Last time did they send them out at the end of the day or the beginning? I'm dying over here lol

I think they came out about 3 o'clock last time. They sent denials first so I want mine to come at 5 o'clock this application cycle lol.

Omg I'm checking my email like crazy! Every noise my phone makes I look immediately. Lol can't wait to see some posts on here saying you've got an interview.
