I believe they give you an entrance exam first. They have their clinicals during the day and they also offer LPN to RN. I am also looking elsewhere because in order to get into BMCC daytime the cutoff GPA is 3.77 and evenings 3.70 and some of those professors there...welll......you know
minnie..boy do i know. i got 2 A- and an A for my pre req's. i am taking a&p 1 at the moment and my professor is horrible. im just not getting it and its frustrating and i will not be a 3.77 unless i get an A.. i am soo stressed out because this is the only class im struggling with and it determines if im into bmcc's program or not. the reason why im looking into bronx cc is because it seems like the only school that accepts most of the nursing classes from bmcc. i dont wanna go to another school and loose all my credits. i feel soooo discouraged!

I don't know about Bronx C.C.'s program. However Hostos C.C. has an excellent RN program. They also have an LPN program. There is no waiting list, you just have to pass your science classes with a B or better. In addition you have to take general and organic chemistry which are both quite challenging.
Good luck
ive looked at hostos also. the only thing is i dont want to transfer and then lose all my credits that ive earned in bmcc. in bcc they require the same courses that way i wont have to redo the classes.
