I'm a pre-nursing who's taking A&PI, Chem 100, Math 96, & Communications (starts late Oct.) this fall semester and already I'm somewhat lagging. Before the start of the sem, I had a job (in Target) which I had to quit because after the first two weeks of school, I realized that taking three upscale classes (of which 2 are labs) just doesn't work with a job. Now the problem is that I didn't give my 2 weeks notice and basically left a day after my announcement to them which resulted of me getting banned forever from working in any Target store. I have no problem with this woeful news but what I'm afraid of is if this will negatively affect my chances of getting a future job. A friend of mine at school will give me an application for a Hospital job which grants financial grants to aspiring RNs and this would really be a boon for me, but I'm worried if I'll be poorly referenced by the job I just left. I just can't afford staying 2 more weeks as my college obligations are piling up against me.
