Ok, I am freaking out. I received a letter from the BRN-CA that stated the following "due to your disclosure of previous discipline or conviction, your application will require additional processing time". WHAT!!?!? I do not have prior convictions nor any disciplinary action taken against me. The only thing that I disclosed were 2 accidents (one was no fault) and my red-light violation. HOW does this equate to a conviction?? Has this happened to anyone? how long was the delay (esp if you are in CA)? Should I go hassle those BRN people? Any advice because I am very concerned. any updates on this issue? im in almost the exact same situation you are...

Hi folks. So sorry for the late response. My director reviewed what and I sent to the BRN and she suggested the following: Amend traffic accidents to specify that there wasn't a police report, that it didn't result in any disciplinary action or points against my license, and that it was resolved by the insurance company. I updated and hand delivered to the BRN the second week in April. The person who accepted my form informed me that anytime you disclose a ticket it's considered a conviction. Uh huh, okay. He also said that it would take up to 4 weeks to process. #annoyed.

Long story short:

April 19: Graduation

April 24: Received my ATT

June 2: Took my NCLEX. The computer shut off in 80 questions. I did the pearson trick and it wouldn't allow me to re-register. They say that this means that you passed but i'm still nervous. When I took the NCLEX my brain was in a fog and I felt as though I forgot everything that I learned from Kaplan.

*I would have taken the NCLEX earlier but I had to take 2 weeks off for a wedding and other business.

June 3: have an Interview for a new grad program in about 4 hours

June 3 post interview plan: drink some wine, watch TV, and go to sleep

Anyway, that is all.
