Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2022. Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. 

As a student expecting to graduate from the program this Summer feel free to reach out with any questions and I will do my best to answer them or refer you to the proper channels ?

Can someone call admissions today I work all day and won’t be able to call

I don’t know if they’ll tell us when degreeworks changes they might only say when the official letters go out. I can call today, does anyone know their office hours?

Welcome Sarah! 
I’m pretty sure the TEAS is just a pass fail so I’m sure you’ll be okay! Fingers crossed for today, good luck!

How did y’all calculate your GPA

I just spoke with the admissions office and they said final decisions have not been made yet and they are expected to go out mid to late April. Is this what they say every year or do we really have to wait until then?

It was calculated for me by admissions, and a cool thing to note is that if you have X number of credits already, they give you an A for College Success Seminar, which helped me because I had an A- for that. I can’t recall the amount of credits needed off the top of my head, though.

You’re welcome, I’d email the nursing admin staff to see if you could possibly snag a meeting, they would be able to tell you exactly where your GPA is for the pre-reqs.
