Is anyone in MA anxiously awaiting decisions for Fall 2023?

Oh thats so sweet! Really the whole second year I suggest getting out of your comfort zone at clinical and putting yourself in new spaces. Someone is using a gtube? Guess where you're going?

Personally I found 2nd year easier than first because it's less memorization and more understanding Disease process. A few friends and I did split a simple nursing subscription and I found his quick sheets super helpful for studying

Good luck, and see you on the licensed side!

Thank you so much! And you shall!

Hi! I graduated in 2022 so things may have changed but yes they are only looking at the required courses, so if you failed astronomy it doesn't count haha

As far as classes,  when I applied classes in progress were counted but I would try to speak to an advisor! I found it's less stressful to have everything done and only do the nursing classes, but that's your decision 🙂

If you have other questions you can message me too!

Hi, im new to the thread but came across your post! I plan on applying in February for the LPN to RN bridge and once this Winter session is completed I will have done every non-nursing class. I see you mentioned it being easier only doing the nursing classes, which is what I had planned for. Could you give more detail on as to how?

Hi!

What I meant was to complete the non-pre-requisite classes prior to starting the program (A&p2, child psych, I don't know what else is suggested now 😅)

This allowed me to focus fully on nursing school work, and not also have to worry about an exam on muscle insertion sites or a paper also due.

Sorry for any confusion!

Oh OK OK, noted. By the time I apply this month I will have already done A&P 2, child psych, stats, hoping to get micro out the way too before the program. Seeing as you were able to focus on nursing courses, were you able to work during the program due to not having as many classes? Im coming in as an LPN, but im hoping the program ends up being fast for me, but I don't know anyone with much first hand insight on the program. Thank you for replying btw.

Hi!

Yes I was working 32hrs/wk while in school. Being an LPN may help you too as you will have some of the knowledge already! Good luck!

Hi! I got in! I really hope you did too!!

Hi congratulations I hope your nursing journey is going good. I hope if you don't mind asking, but what was your GPA. I applied for nursing for 2025 and I got three days but I got to a man so my GPA would be 3.89 and I just wanna know if that's competitive enough to get into the ehealth.

I don't know if things changed since I applied, but a 3.89 overall sounds pretty good. Make sure you have solid grades in math and sciences (bio, A&P etc) as they recalculate the GPA with just required classes

Good luck!

Thank you ! In the pre-requisite classes  I got only A and A-s   since I know how competitive it is.
