Is anyone in MA anxiously awaiting decisions for Fall 2023?
I found the requirements for waiver of CSS. You must fulfill one of the following:
• the student has earned 30 or more transfer credits;
• the student has a combination of 30 or more transfer and Bristol credits with a GPA of 2.5 or better.
Great! I just didn't wanted to over take the thread with to many!
One question is it says they look at GPA of pre admission courses so they are just looking at your GPA for the pre requisites only?
A and P, English, Psych
my other question is my girlfriend also hopes to apply for fall 2025 it says the deadline is February but she's planning to do a and p next semester. She currently doing biology 109 now to be able to do A and P . Even if she does the short term A and P it's January to March! Would she finish A and P and submit her application late and hope for the best? Or would she better to wait until the next fall 2026 to apply and be fully done with pre requisites ? Maybe this is a question for somebody from the program but I figured I would ask here in case anybody had any insight.
Hi! I graduated in 2022 so things may have changed but yes they are only looking at the required courses, so if you failed astronomy it doesn't count haha
As far as classes, when I applied classes in progress were counted but I would try to speak to an advisor! I found it's less stressful to have everything done and only do the nursing classes, but that's your decision 🙂
If you have other questions you can message me too!
Alexandra Lee said:Hi! I remember your advice about pedi and OB and it really helped me a lot this past semester. So I was wondering if you have any advice for this upcoming 3rd semester? As it draws closer I grow more nervous.
Oh thats so sweet! Really the whole second year I suggest getting out of your comfort zone at clinical and putting yourself in new spaces. Someone is using a gtube? Guess where you're going?
Personally I found 2nd year easier than first because it's less memorization and more understanding Disease process. A few friends and I did split a simple nursing subscription and I found his quick sheets super helpful for studying
Good luck, and see you on the licensed side!

I believe that is a course like bio or chemistry for student who have never been to college before. It can be waived after a certain amount of credits but you might want to check the bcc website
