Bristol Community College Fall 2014

Hi! I'm applying to BCC for fall 2014 and am looking to see if there is anyone else out there doing the same. My application is in and I am taking the TEAS test this weekend - so nervous! Don't know what to expect. Any insight?

I was stubborn and didn't apply anywhere else because I was dead set on BCC. If I don't get in my plan is to look into the pre-reqs for surrounding schools and work on that for next spring. I also wanted to let you guys knows that after that phone call I decided to email the dean of admissions to ease my mind a bit. She didn't give me a time or month or anything however she did tell me that they are in the process of finalizing the minimal qualification review for on-time applicants. She went on to say that the next step will be to forward the pool of minimally qualified students onto the faculty for review and that once the decisions are made we will be informed as soon as possible. Not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing not sure which process takes longer but I just know its killing me and I really hope we don't have to wait another two months! Thought I would share with you guys and maybe before spring break someone else can try and see what they tell them. =)

They are definitely working on things. I have several credits to transfer in from a previous program, and they are starting to add them on my degree works - they weren't there before. I cannot wait another 2 months. Hopefully they think saying that will stave off calls. Little do they know, it won't! Lol

When was everyones last degree audit? I hate the fact that mine is broken, I can't tell if there's anything going on and I'm going crazy. lol

For anyone that hasn't completed everything that BCC requires (I'm currently taking chemistry)...I called today and they said that our applications will not be put in front of the review board until we drop off our updated transcript once grades close in May. I hope this helps!

I don't understand that? I would think that all required classes should be done as of February 1st. That's a little unfair to those of us that had everything done on time. I was told that they don't wait for any classes that are in-progress.

I wish I would have applied to Brockton just to have it as a second option. =\

My last degree works update was today and thats really strange that yours isn't updating I read on a past post that it updates daily at 7 (not sure if its true) but doesn't make sense why yours wouldn't.

And I am a little confused about that also, will they hold all letters until they review the uncompleted files? I don't think so because it would have been like that in previous years if so. I think they probably review them and put them in order incase of any available spots.

Oh no lexbeex, mine also updates daily. I didn't think it was supposed to. Last year it didn't. It only updated when your file was being reviewed.

Mine was audit today, I don't understand the whole audit thing, can someone explain it more..
