Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2021

Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2021. How are things going for everyone in the current climate? Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Former/current students, do you have any insight to share?

I think they should definitely have a better system because it doesn’t make any sense

I know there are a few schools that have multiple semesters. CCRI has a semester that starts in August and January. Laboure also has a rolling admission. The fall semester is full, so if I go there I won't start my first nursing course until January. You would be able to accept more students , and it would def help the shortage.

Nursing programs are expensive to run. And to do rolling semesters they would need more staff and lab space so I think thats why BCC doesn't do it.

That makes sense. But there's a reason bcc is one of the top 3 best schools in MA

For sure! Just figured I could explain why BCC doesn't do that.

Are we hoping for Friday that’s it’s a possibility or do u think it may be posted later on the month?

I’m pretty sure we’re all hoping for Friday. from what I read it’s been the last Friday old February!

Yes really hoping for tomorrow!! The insider was told that the plan is for students to be notified by the end of this week! So crossing fingers, toes , arms, legs and anything else that can be crossed that we find out tomorrow!

Allison I hear that 1000000%! It's my husband's birthday today.. I secretly hope we find out today. But I'll be happy with tomorrow too LOL. I just need to find out before Monday. LOL
