I applied to BHNS also im waiting to hear from them if i were you i would choose bristol because i heard at BHNS you come out with a diploma but at bristol you get an associate's degree. good luck. let me know did u have to take any special tests at brockton hospital nursing school cause i heard that they don't give the TEAS or the NET what do they make you take as far as testing. if u prefer u can email me ur answer at [email protected].
You have to take an English and Math test. They're looking for a 70 or above. It's not hard either. If you get a 90 or above in Math, you can request to take another test in order to test out of the first year required math course. However, you have to get a 95 or above.
I guess the main thing that matters to me about which school is which one prepares you best to get your license and to be a nurse. And also if it matters to the people hiring which school.

I agree with aspiringfuturenurse. The only one reason that I didn't apply to Brockton because I will get a diploma, it isn't an associate's degree. I applied to CCCC as well, but my first choice was BCC, so I will go to BCC for sure. I just paid $200 registration fee today. I hope to see u in NUR11 class.
I think I will definitely be going to BCC. Just talked to a friend who got her master's from RIC and she has hired nurses in the past and said she would pick the BCC student because of the 2-yr assoc degree.
I'm so excited.
S. Vincent, are you going in the Fall? Did you take courses at BCC last semester or last year? Wondering if maybe we were in the same classes.
Another friend of mine that I took Micro with got in in the Fall too!
Yes, I am going to this fall. I did take courses at BCC last semester and I am taking English 12 now. I took Micro 39 and HST11 last semester. Who did you have in micro? See u in Fall!
