Hi Guys, I would like to ask whether every institution that conducts Bridging Program either universities or colleges always give trial exam for new applicants before enrolling the course or it depends on its (universities/colleges) policy??
Because based on the information that I've searched on the internet, there's an institution that held a trial exam for new applicants such as The Royal Australian College of General Practitioner.
The second one is, for those who are going to enroll the Bridging course, how you arrange for the place to stay (ex:dormitory or home stay programs), do you use an agent or you arrange it by your self (by asking the universities/colleges whether they provide dormitory for new students)?
Are there some of you who have the information regarding my question?
Thank you so much in advance for your help
May I add two more questions...
Does any of you have some reccomendations or suggestions about which universities/colleges in any state that conduct BP with less tuition fee (less than $AUD 8000) but still has good quality and the length of the course is less than 1 year??
Does any of you have some information regarding which state in Australia that doesn't require high living cost???
Because I want to make a calculation or some estimation about how much money will I spend for the BP and the living cost before I get there...
Thank you so much for your help...
I appreciate that...
in applying to vchn, do you have to get your documents certified first before scanning and emailing them? (certified true copy)
no need to certify your documents for VCHN you just scan the original then send it to them. the important thing is to pay your fees. when you get here in Oz they will certify your documents just show them the original and its free. so i think it will save your money a bit. i hope this helps....
hey lime 12! how's your BP at VCHN Perth? im in on the April 18 2011 intake at VCHN Perth too. how's the BP? mind sharing your experiences? thanks!
its expensive really expensive. but VCHN is very accomodating. sometimes they are strict in assessments and exams but they will always give you a chance to redo it so that you can pass it. theory part is just discussion and some procedures. but you will learn everything in your clinical placement. VCHN will help you. they will organize you from day 1 until the end...
hi. i just need your expertis on this. is there anyone here who pay AHPRA using money order from Philippines? is it possible? how dd you do it? thanks...
I don't think it's possible now. Payment thru money order at present is only applicable if you are dealing with Asian countries. It's better if you have for yourself a credit card. It's much easier and more convenient to use.
I did my bridging course at VCHN (Victorian College Of Health And Nursing). Please see the link below for their course details. They have campuses in Melbourne and Perth.
