Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
I'm done with that. No need to finish everything, just 80% will do.
Thanks mark for the help! one more question; how about the case study, do i still need to make one? thanks again :)
hi.. did the immig asked your friend to submit another proof from an APPROVED education provider? coz they told me that ACN is not an APPROVED provider. although i just thought that they are not yet aware that ACN is the new name for The College of Nursing.
hi qymburlee, I was offered a slot for the April intake.. What was your reply or what did you do next?
Hi! I lodged my application for bridging program in College of Nursing last sep 2012, however, I'm still waiting to be selected for May's program. WHat will be estimated timeline from application to giving of offer letter from the school? My eligibility will be expiring soon I really need to take the bridging as soon as possible. Thanks in advance
She is about to lodge her visa this week.. ACN's accreditation is til 1 april 2013 in theie website, also with AHPRA. What is your reply to the immi?
I just said that I am still waiting for the school to provide a letter. but they can't give me a letter unless they get the approval. so I am in a really tight situation. I only have until the 19th to wait for ACN's approval. or else my visa will not be granted.

I sent them back the Confirmation form with my signature thru email. But at this point, I have to suggest that you wait for the school's approval from AHPRA before you lodge your visa. but be ready with your requirements so that as soon as they get their approval you can readily lodge your visa.

Hello...it's an online interview only...More like a multiple choice exam...
Questions are based on the categories (e.g. Surgery, Pedia, Gyne) you will choose. There are about 20 questions you have to answer within 10 minutes (If my memory serves me right...
) So tick the categories you are most comfortable with.
Best of luck!
