Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
One more question regarding LTU application, what did you place under the 'course preference'--- for the online application--
Initial Registration for Overseas Nurses (IRON) or IRON, or CRICOS, or Midwifery Courses DON'T work so I cant seem to move on with the application. Or should I leave those blank? Thanks!

hello,im applying for IHNA perth,i have a question though,do i need to complete the immunisation history first before applying online?Also,i read some posts that when it comes to IHNA interview,one can choose from an online exam or skype interview, is that true? thanks thanks

No, you don't yet. If you apply online, you just have to answer the questions online. No need for an interview anymore.
So here we are, 28.11.2012 and still all 3 bridging programs are out of date or soon will be, ACFE, ETEA, IHNA. WHat is happening?
Every other bridging program gets accreditation on time, why this?
We are owed some explanation, not words from these schools, dates being change, conditional offers!
The only nursing program accredited by IHNA is the diploma of nursing (Enrolled Nurse) that is accredited to 2016, the bridging in both Melbourne and Perth are 2012 according to the AHPRA website, that gets updated regularly as things change.
