Bridging Program in Australia

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

hi may i know the list of requirements for conversion program ?thanks a lot

This would depend on which school you would be enrolling in. Most of the discussion in this part of the forum is on the bridging program.

Hi! Well I applied thru agency here in the philippines and ACFE is one of their partners so i received the offer of interview less than a week from the time i submitted my application. I paid 250AUD for application fee then after I think a week, I received the letter of offer. Have you already received your offer? I'll be on june 4, 2018 intake but still waiting for the visa approval. Hope everything goes well. I also did quantiferon tb-gold testing here and resulted negative..

Hi m enrolled for july batch.may i know that leave approval and experience letter is required for applying visitor visa or not?what r the requirements??

Thanks

Hi Guys, for those who finished BP in 2017/2018 and got a work sponsorship through 457 or 482 (TSS). Just an inquiry, after BP, is there a VISA that you can apply to let you stay in AU for another 1-2 months after your current business visa expires? Just enough time for AHPRA registration and work applications. Can you share us your experience? Anyone stayed in AU after BP and looked for a job? If yes, under what VISA?

Hi Ind RN! I'm based in Singapore. I checked AU embassy online for the requirements of VISA 600 - Business Visitor Stream. I submitted AHPRA referral letter, School invitation (in my case, ACN), School acceptance payment receipt (ACN requires you to pay 1k aud as acceptance payment of the course), my Certificate of employment, bank details showing sufficient funds, VISA 600 - Business Visitor Stream form 1415 (downloadable online), Insurance (covering the duration of the BP program) and accommodation arrangements in AU indicating your stay for the duration of the BP program. After 2 business days, they contacted me and ask me to go to their selected clinic in Singapore to undergo medical tests. Medical tests were Chest x-ray, Hepatitis C test, HIV test and Hepatitis B test. After almost 2 weeks I got the VISA grant. I didnt have to send leave approval since I plan to resign before the start of my BP.

I suggest you do the same. Check 1st the requirements of your desired VISA online or visit AU embassy then submit them. It should be similar from what I submitted.
