Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

After receiving referal letfer from AHPRA i received following. Email from my RO
I am writing in regards to the NMBA's proposal to refuse you registration.
Can you please confirm if you will be making a submission in response to the NMBA's proposal? If not, could you please respond to my e-mail with the following:
"I confirm I accept the Board's proposal to refuse registration as a registered nurse and will not be making a submission."
Once this is received, we will be able to close your application and organise for a refund of the registration fee.

hi, I'm based overseas so for AFP check I had it mailed directly to ACN which took only 5-7 business days. For the rest of the requirements, you need to obtain it all 1st before sending to ACN because they wont process it if requirements were incomplete. They received my application on Jan 9 and my AFP check on Jan 16. I'm still waiting for their offer
Hi Lovella_Ellen
Have u received offer letter from ACN?
If yes for which month?

Yes, I received yesterday. I sent the application Jan 4, received email that they got my application on Jan 9, they deducted the application fee last Jan 18 and got the offer Feb 1. When all requirements provided, you should be able to receive the offer 2-3 weeks after they deduct the application fee from your account. Mine is July 30 intake for July 2 is already full.
