Bridging Program in Australia

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

hi EloysaMarey

What do u mean by the below - is it specific to Deakin Uni ?

"informing me about the closure of slots in all schools for the upcoming months"

hi, i received an email from ahpra regarding my docs last sept 5 and i talked to my agent informing me about the closure of slots in all schools for the upcoming months. :(( i am still waiting for my loe and hopefully i can reserve a slot for deakin january intake. Anyone on the same page as me?

have you inquired at monash university??? There is a november 2017 intake

What are the intake dates for BP @Deakin Uni in 2018 ?

ETEA approval dates end on 01/02/2018.

No information regarding the accreditation after Feb 2018.

But their websites allow enrollments for BP for whole of 2018.

Anybody enrolled for Feb/Mar 2018 ETEA ?

Kindly respond or PM...

Quite confusing to apply for ETEA for 2018..

That is for my agency's partner school (ETEA, ACFE, Monash, Deakin).

I already did, sadly november intake is full.

I have already recieved my AHPRA letter.

Im planning to enroll in Mar 2018 - ETEA (WA PERTH)

when did you send your documents?

Not yet sent the documents.

I checked their approval dates in AHPRA site - it ends on 01/02/2018. so I didnt pursue it

Seems like only ACN is offering intakes for 2018.

ACFE/IHNA/ETEA all have their approval dates expiring in early 2018.

Need to wait to watch their approval dates get extended or renewed ...
