Bridging Program in Australia

World Registration

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

Hi cucci, it's also processing for my application at the moment. Keep in touch! :)

hi did you submit all your papers thru mail? Did you finish all your vaccination before sending? I didn't submit mine yet since I'm still retrieving all my vaccination records. Pls I hope you can reply

When I inquired last time with IHNA, all their slots for July and August 2017 are full. No other intakes for this year from their campuses.

Hello teeyara!

Thank you for this info. May i ask how soon where you given an offer letter after the submission of requirements and online application? It's been 8 days for me since i submitted my documents and online application from the portal, but since then i haven't heard anything from them

They cancelled mine and said it's full 😥

Hi! I am taking the june intake at deakin.. Are u going too? I havent known anyone for the june intake yet..

Hi how's your experience with deakin?

Specializes in Critical Care.

After receiving the refusal letter from AHPRA:

Lodged my application letter with ACN, but prior to that already inquired whether the June intake is still accepting applicants. EPIQ Form is availble in ACNs website, filled up the form and attached certified copies of documentary requirements, i.e. passport, AHPRA LOR, IELTS, Employment Certificate, all vaccinations and tests. Also attached fit2work and AFP check as well. Also paid the initial AUD 250 fee.

Scanned and sent the application and all attachments via email.

After two days, got a letter from ACN that they have received the application and is reviewing my submission. Waited for a few days and did a follow up, they replied with a request for TST but I informed them that in the vaccination form from my previous employer a PPD test result is already included and I had a chest x-ray submitted as well. A day later, they sent me the Offer Letter.

I used the Offer Letter as proof of invitation for my visa application... still waiting for a result since I just applied yesterday. I still have to undergo the medical exam.

They cancelled mine and said it's full í ½í¸¥

You can try acfe. They are on promo now and they still have available slots for Aug intake

I will send my application form to ACN on next Tuesday, the day I can get all my immunization record. Hope I can still get the vacancy starting from 26/6.

Btw, what kind of visa do you apply? I dont know what kinda visa I should apply after finishing BP in AU. I'm planning to stay in au to find a job directly in stead of coming back my country and waiting for months to apply another visa.

My first application in IHNA was also cancelled. So that I applied another school instead. It's really a bad experience to apply IHNA.

I called them 3 weeks ago to follow up for my application. They told me some students from previous intakes were transfered to a later intake hence causing a problem with the enrolled students for the later intakes. After i heard it, i realized there will be troubles to some students that just got admitted. I then started looking for other schools and not keep my hopes up for ihna.

Hope you'll find another school for your desired intake.
