Bridging Program in Australia

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

Is there anyone applying for Bridging Program this year (2014) in Australian College of Nursing?

I am on the process of applying to Australian College of Nursin as well but planning to take the 4 August – 17 OctobernCourse dates.

Hello. Anyone in here who is for ACN march 2014 intake?

I am on the process of applying to Australian College of Nursin as well but planning to take the 4 August - 17 OctobernCourse dates. What Visa did you apply for for the Bridging Program? I saw almost everyone went thru 456 visa, but this visa only allows max 3 months. I wish to stay on Sydney 6-12 months, would that be possible still with this Visa? Thanks

The type of visa you would need to apply for is determined by the bridging course provider. For ACN, you are required to apply for subclass 600 business stream. Good luck! =)

ACN is by far the school that offers the cheapest tuition for bridging program and it is really hard to get a slot from them. Lodge your application to different schools asap so that you'll have options.

Hi to all! kristine25 and Jackelyne RN. I am also for IHNA Melbourne 14 Feb intake to 21 Apr 2014. Currently, I am waiting for the result of evaluation of my requirements for my clinical placement; hopefully I will declared as full compliance. I passed my requirementd on the night of 2 Jan 2014. How long does it usually take for IHNA-Melbourne to evaluate completeness for clinical placement requirements? and any tips as to where I can safely browse travel guide for entering Australia or laws regarding what is safe to bring into Australia? I browse diac.gov.au, I'm confused as to what keyword I will use for searching.

Hi b_cell! Just email ******* about the extension of your requirements. Have your received your visa already and are you done with the online course? With regards to the laws on what is safe to bring- well, i have no idea. Goodluck to us.

p.s.you can pm me or give me your e-ad so we can communicate faster.
