Brenau spring 2013 applicants

Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for people that applied for the brenau full time nursing program that starts in the spring of 2013. I submitted my app, & now I'm hoping to get an offer!

I already registered to take pathophysiology next spring and Spanish 2.. Just wanted to see if there are any other applicants for brenau out there?(-:

Did anyone ever find out what the GA Board of Nursing conditional approval for Brenau was about? I am assuming it has something to do with their recent NCLEX pass rates, but I'm not certain.

I asked a current student and they stated that it did have to do with the recent NCLEX pass rates. But from my understanding, the program had to give the GA Board of Nursing a plan on how they were going to improve the rates. I am going to apply but still monitor their pass rates for this year. I am also going to apply to other schools in case they don't gain full approval. I hope it gains full approval but this is really the only school that would allow me to work full time and still go to nursing school.

I wonder if its part time nursing or full time or both that has had low pass rates. Isnt the part time new? I cant imagine working full time and going through nursing school. I need to have all my head in or none.

Still no letter for me :-(

I tried calling the nursing office after checking my mail, but they've already closed for the holidays. I emailed my advisor to see if maybe I can check whether or not I'm accepted online.. Hopefully I hear something soon!

@ntran I'm working on my patience lol!

I live in Suwanee, & I know mail service is probably slow with the holidays and all-- plus I'm pretty sure my mailman knows I'm stalking my mailbox... Basically I need to find a hobby lol

Do they have your correct address? Have you received mailed from Brenau recently? A bill for next semester maybe? If not, maybe they have your wrong address.

@NRKB I've received mail from them before, so I know my address is good.. My advisor emailed me back & said she would check on my application/acceptance status for me.. Have you already taken patho?

That is too bad that you have to wait a couple of weeks to hear about your status. You have taken the Kaplan right? Did you take it at Brenau or somewhere else? Yes, I have taken Patho already. Its a great class and very important to know and understand! It definitely takes up all your time that is for sure! LOTS of reading. Are you taking it?
