OK, what's the difference between a breastfeeding chair and the gliders with the gliding ottomans? Is there a difference between the way one moves over another?:uhoh21:

I am not sure of the difference, but I have had some mothers tell me they wished they had just bought a recliner because the types of arms on glider rockers get in the way of nursing, especially as baby gets older; and that recliners are just more comfortable.
When I looked up "breastfeeding chair" I got this description of one (photo below):
"Its ergonomic shape offers:,a low seat to ensure feet are placed squarely and firmly on the floor, keeping the body weight evenly distributed and the spine straight,a gently tilted seat which ensures the mother's back is flat against the chair back, keeping the spine perfectly supported and removing the need for cushions or pillows,an integral, inflatable lumbar 'cushion' which provides perfect support for the lower back,a generously wide seat with 'flared' sides to allow an older sibling to 'perch' during feeding, gentle 'wings' to suggest a feeling of an intimate, enclosed space for mother and baby"
I never had one, but I would probably prefer a recliner to either the glider or 'breastfeeding chair' (I would like to low arms of a recliner, and ability to, well, recline!). But really you don't need any "equipment"... just a reasonably comfortable spot.
Are you asking for a hospital or home environment?

Nothing beat my gliding otto man and chair plus a boppy for breastfeeding. I ended up there the most.

I used a recliner. I could never figure out one of those boppy things! It kept falling off of me! Next time (If I am lucky) I want to get a glider.
