BRCC Nursing Spring 2018

Hi,

I wanted to put this up for anyone applying for BRCC's nursing program Spring 2018. I am applying in the Spring and also taking my HESI in the Spring. I have to complete my last two classes also, when I get an A in those classes I'll be applying with a 3.8 GPA. I talked to the advisor and she said I just need to concentrate on getting a good score on the HESI. I felt we all could be encouragers for each other. :)

Hey! I will be applying in the spring as well. Does anyone know the application and HESI cost? How much is the study guide at brcc book store?

I think the Hesi might be less than $40 and it's cash only. The nursing application becomes available 01/08/18 and it's free. You have to print it out and bring in 2 official transcripts and your receipt for the Hesi exam. I am also applying for the Spring semester.

How are both of you studying for the Hesi? I am using the study guide and the Hesi A2 app. I'm going to start studying a lot more after the first of the year.

I have the Hesi A2 study guide and the Hesi assessment book. I plan on studying when after I get my test date, hopefully in a week or so.

Hi, I plan on applying to the nursing program at BRCC this spring 2018(this month). I just wanted to meet other applicants to see if anyone might have the same questions and concerns as I do. Anyone worried about taking the HESI exam? I am hoping to make at least a 90% on the HESI. How is everyone preparing for it?

Hi!

I printed out my application yesterday. I plan on going by the school tomorrow to turn it in and get my HESI date. I use the HESI book and the HESI a2 app on my phone. I'm so nervous! I'm hoping to get a really good score on it. I'm taking my last two required classes this semester, Engl 101 and a History for the elective. When I get an A in both those courses I'll have a 3.8 applying for the nursing school with only one course not taken at BRCC.

Hey! I am also applying for nursing school at BRCC this semester! would anyone have any recomendations for an easy humanities to take? and a good a&p 1 teacher?? TIA! hope to meet some of yall!

Hi, i am expecting to apply in 2019, i transfered from other school and my GPA is overall 3.00. i met with advicsor she told me to retake one of class at brcc. i got C in pre cal but i would never want to retake it again. I would retake english 101 instead.

Ok so this might be a stupid question, but on the application where it says to turn in "2 official transcripts"..... What if we only went to BRCC? does that mean to get 2 transcripts from that one school, and if we went to 2 different schools to get 2 transcripts from each school? Also do we need a transcript from high school as well? Hopefully I wasn't the only one confused about this haha.
