BRCC nursing program 2019??

Published

Just wanted to start a thread of people applying this year. I also have questions for anyone who’s currently in the program right now about per-semester costs. Also has anyone who’s in the program currently gotten in with a B in A&P I?

@gloriawhs1 yea, when i applied i figured i would try to do better then my HESI, unfortunately i had alot of life things come up in the meantime, grandma got diagnosed with cancer, best friend tried to commit suicide and ex fiance broke it off. Therefore i wasnt exactly in the right state of mind and it was too late to try to use my HESI score.

So sorry to hear that. Hope things get better for you soon. ❤️

@jackylnaiello

I'm so sorry about all those negative experiences. Hopefully that does not hold you back from getting into the program.

I hope things in your life goes well with everything going on.

Thanks ladies. Just trying to keep my head up. Good luck to everyone.

Did anyone talk to other people that is applying about their scores?

I have a 3.4 with all prerequisites at BRCC and I made a 76 on the TEAS. Was hoping for at least an 80 but...

we will see.

Does anyone know how the bonus is applied for taking classes at BRCC?

It's two points per course

It is 10% of the total score. TEAS is 50% and GPA is 40%.

Hi, I'm also applying to the nursing program this semester. I have a 4.0 gpa with 3 prerequisites at BRCC. I just hope my teas score is high enough.

@shayp08 What did you make on your TEAS if you don't mind me asking!?

Since the TEAS scores are out everyone should know their GPA & TEAS score! How did everyone do on GPA, TEAS, & how many classes at BRCC?

Yea it's okay, I made an 83

Majority of the people in my A&P 2 class that was applying made scores in the 60's and low 70's. So I think the people with 79 has a good chance.
