BRCC nursing program 2019??

Published

Just wanted to start a thread of people applying this year. I also have questions for anyone who’s currently in the program right now about per-semester costs. Also has anyone who’s in the program currently gotten in with a B in A&P I?

Hi, I'm also applying to the nursing program this semester. I have a 4.0 gpa with 3 prerequisites at BRCC. I just hope my teas score is high enough.

You are already in good standing. We just have to wait until next week to see the final piece of the puzzle.

Oh well that’s great! Good luck to us all!

Yes so do I. When do we check for the scores?

Hey guys so i got my score. I made a 79 :(. Kind of bummed but at least i scored in advanced category.

The TEAS scores are available! How is everyone's gpa's and scores looking!?

Well I'm very dissapointed in myself. I made a 73. I made a 88 on the HESI last year.

You know you could've used your hesi scores from last year if you passed all parts.

@gloriawhs1 yea, when i applied i figured i would try to do better then my HESI, unfortunately i had alot of life things come up in the meantime, grandma got diagnosed with cancer, best friend tried to commit suicide and ex fiance broke it off. Therefore i wasnt exactly in the right state of mind and it was too late to try to use my HESI score.

I feel that...I did not do great one mine either...hoping my gpa makes up for it.

@kkl2011 What did you make? What is your GPA?

@jacklynaiello If I make an A in my current class (I have an 89% now), I'll have a 3.8 GPA and a 79 on TEAS. 4 classes at BRCC.

I feel you have a pretty decent chance. I think that advance placement is pretty good. We shouldn’t beat ourselves up about it :(
