BRCC Nursing Applicants for Fall 2014

Hey everyone! I just turned in my application for the Fall of 2014 a couple of days ago. I take the HESI in a little over a week! I am super nervous and full of anxiety, haha. I was just wondering what GPA everybody else is applying with and how many pre-reqs were taken at BRCC

Tbh theres a program opening closer to home so im going to give it a shot but BRCC is my first choice so if all else fails then..yup! Ill be applying in the Spring

I got accepted!!

I am trying to get an idea on what the typical schedule is for first semester. How many days are we in class and how many days are we in lab/clinical and how many hours each day?

If someone who has been through the program can answer this for me I would appreciate it.

When I went to drop of the items required today I was told lecture was Monday and Tueadays and to assume they commence at 8. Thursdays and Fridays are clinical days and they are usually at 6 am to say noon. But it depends on the availability of sites.

Well the schedule on Lola says Monday and wed fundamentals... 8-950..... Then Thursday and Friday lab. Well I was told lab may start at 8-830 ( meaning we will get out later as well ) instead of the 630 time that's on lola! I work so I need a concrete schedule with times ASAP!

Lab won't start that early bc campus doesn't open at 630....that will be the time for our in-hospital clinicals.

No, I think they said around august 15 they will schedule them for us.

Does anyone know if we have to wear all white shoes for clinicals? I see that we have to wear white closed toe shoes with our polos, but I don't see anything about our uniforms
