Those journalists are engaging in attention-seeking behavior. Bolsonaro took his mask off for only a few seconds. The odds of catching this Corona from just one exhalation is virtually nil. And if the odds of catching Corona from someone taking their mask off for a few seconds were sky-high then you might as well admit defeat in this mask-everybody campaign because it clearly is doomed to fail.

Did they have masks on? Why didn't they ask him to put it back on? Why didn't they keep their distance? He's not the only person at fault here and I'm pro mask.

Um.. I believe the article says it was Bolsonoro who infected them. Therefore whether they were wearing masks was not the issue.

It is ironic the only other nation on the trajectory of a loss of life in the millions is Donald tRump's mini-me demagogue in Brasil. If you have been following Bolsonoro's reign, you'd understand why it would be a waste of time to ask him to wear a mask at least as much as DtC.

I haven't been keeping up with Bolsonoro and I'm aware he infected them. My thing is if he's that bad then they should have known to stay away from him. I'm sure US journalists know to stay away from Trump. They have some blame in this.
