I heard back yesterday that being on the waitlist is for both the master's and doctorate programs! But please let us know if you getting any other information as well, thank you so much!!
Hello everyone,
I'm interested in applying for the 2022 cohort. For those that were accepted, would you be able to list some of the details about your application, including personal statement, GPA, science GPA, background and letters of recommendation? Also, was this your first year applying or were you a wait list from the previous year? I'm trying to get a sense of what they're looking for.
For those that were wait listed, what were the same attributes of your application such as GPA, science GPA, statement, letters, etc.? I'm trying to get a sense of what they're looking for in all aspects. Also, once you were told you were wait listed, did they give you a number or at least tell you how many people were also on the wait list for the following year?
Thank you so much!
Hi @ashley016 Good luck with your applications as you begin them. I am on the waitlist at BC for their FNP DNP program and have been offered admission at UPENN for their ABSN/ MSN program.
I have a 3.7 from a masters in global health program and a 4.0 for my prereqs. I have more than a decade of professional experience in public health and clinical research. My LORs were from an NP I work with, a Principle Investigator, and a public health professor who is a PhD, MD. I did not take the GRE as my scores expired awhile back.
Hey, wow I’m kind of stunned really. Would you be able to have a private conversation with me? I’d like to pick your brain.

Hi! I was accepted for the AGNP DNP. My GPA was a 3.5 overall and 3.7 science. My letters of rec were from my research professor, my micro professor/lab boss and my current healthcare boss. My personal statement included personal experiences between my own life and where I worked in healthcare and insurance disadvantages and how I wish to help change that for those with disadvantages and disabilities. I majored in Microbiology from UMass Amherst. I declined my acceptance however to attend northeastern and I was also accepted to Simmons. I did research on yeast in my undergrad and worked in the micro prep lab. My current position is working with those that have various mental and physical disabilities and improving their sense of life and incorporating them into the community. I was a first year acceptance and just graduated with my BS may 2020
Congrats @srt0916 Are you committing to BC? I was also on the waitlist, but decided to have admissions remove me after being accepted to a couple of other programs and committing to another school. Here is the link to the facebook group for BC: https://www.facebook.com/groups/728256508063629/?ref=share
hi all, I know this is an old thread but figured I could ask here, I got waitlisted for the DE DNP-PMHNP program at boston but I was waitlisted since I originally turned down the interview. I changed my mind and requested to interview and did it today and was told I would be reconsidered for admission. I just wanted to ask those of you who attend the program how you like it?
