Boston College Master's Direct Entry 2016

Hi all,

I have been searching around but haven't come across a thread for those of us who are applying to Boston College for the MSN Direct Entry 2016 start date yet. Did anyone else apply? I'm applying for the FNP track :)

arounai I was wondering how much the course costs

If you're low-income you might qualify for the BOG waiver which waives all your unit fees, so the only thing you'd have to pay for is textbooks. I checked and the online access code without the textbook is $88.

Otherwise the class is 4 units and Yuba charges $46 per unit.

Yep but there's another section by the same professor that's condensed and begins on March 21st.

Thanks. It does say add $220 per credit for non-residents though. I wonder if that includes online classes! I emailed admissions about the patho course so I will post any updates tomorrow.

Hm no idea about non-resident fees for online courses. Hopefully you don't have to pay that much!

Anyway congrats everyone who got in! Maybe I'll get some good news in April if some of you guys decide not to accept your spots.

I'm in for Women's Health. :) Has anyone been offered scholarship yet? The second email was confusing because it mentioned we should have heard about any assistance in our admissions letter, but we will learn about merit-based aid at the admitted students day.

Hey guys, so I guess I can't start a Facebook group unless I have a friend to add to the group. Does anyone want to PM me your name and I can add you on fb? Also, I heard back from Admissions and the online patho course at Butler Community College would be accepted. I started to register but will need to finish tomorrow. They have to verify pre-reqs (A & P). I think the total for the class will be $700 something so that's a little better!
