Boston College Master's Direct Entry 2016

I have been searching around but haven't come across a thread for those of us who are applying to Boston College for the MSN Direct Entry 2016 start date yet. Did anyone else apply? I'm applying for the FNP track :)

Congrats!! Have you guys taken pathophysiology yet? I know at the end of my acceptance letter it said all prereqs must be completed before the start of the program. I've taken every prereq except patho. Any suggestions? I'm only looking for an online course, preferably not too expensive!!

Congrats on your acceptance, mickie7256!! :) I just need to take Patho as well. I think I'm going with UNE online. Will you be commuting or living on campus?

Yes I found out through other threads that they accept online courses for patho. I, too, have to take it. The allnurses thread said that BC recommends a certain school that I've never heard of--I'll have to check again, but I remember it's $1300 for that one course!

I heard about the UNE course but it's very expensive! I think someone posted in a past thread that Butler in Kansas also offers the course online for a lot cheaper. I need to call admissions to confirm that they will accept it though and I want to make sure all of my other pre-reqs were also accepted! I will be commuting since I live in the next town over haha

Congratulations both mickey7256 and Pnkwtrlili21! I also got accepted to their FNP track as well :)!!

I haven't taken patho either. Do you now if the required course is a 5 credits course? I've seen a few that is just 3 credits as well.

Also, do you guys know if they offer scholarships for incoming students at all and how will we be able to find out?

I too am looking for recommendations for an online patho course! or does anyone know of any west coast schools that offer it?
