Anyone here apply to BC for January 2019 or hear about an interview yet?
Where else is everyone applying for 2019?

Hello,
I know this thread was started a little while ago, but would anyone be willing to share their Stat's they had in order to apply to this program?
I am very interested in applying for Spring of 2020 and want to start getting everything in order now. I am currently working in the NICU, over 1.5 years now. I am planning to become CCRN this fall/spring, along with taking PALS and ACLS, and my GRE's. Any advice you can provide would be much appreciated as well.
Thank you!

I was an AAS nurse and then got my BSN during my first year of work.
1 year SICU (Level 1 Trauma) with combined neurocritical care, 1 year CVICU, approximately 600 hours of OT in the critical care ER
GPA 3.8
GRE 310 (Magoosh is an excellent study program - I recommend it over Kaplan!)
ACLS, BLS, PALS, EMT-B
Volunteered for humanitarian relief after Hurricane Maria
I was initially accepted to BC but also was accepted to Baylor in Houston (where I am currently attending).
The interview at Boston is relatively relaxed, there were a dozen of us in my interview time slot. We were greeted by two students who answered our questions, got a short presentation from the program director. And had two fifteen minute one on one interviews. Best of luck in your applications!

Does anybody who is currently in the program ever get back on here?
I'm interviewing August 8th.
I'd like to talk to someone who is in the program, but I can't send out any personal messages.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks so much for letting me know. I have almost the same exact stats with the exception of the GRE. I applied and haven’t heard back yet. I probably didn’t get in this cycle.

Was Boston College interview very clinical? Thanks for responding while you’re busy at a different school!!
They didn't ask any clinical questions beyond what sort of patients you work with and possibly what drips. But I didn't have to explain medication mechanism of action, interpret EKGs, or anything of that sort.
Dmcvicurn503- was the 3.8 GPA your ASN and BSN combined or just your BSN?
Thank you for all the info!
It was my combined GPA!
