Anyone have any advice on where I can take an inexpensive chemistry pre req? I need both organic and inorganic chemistry and a stats class. I have done the other pre reqs through Portage but I don't think I will be able to manage chem and stats ( my weaker areas) without an actual teacher/tutor
Thanks

I have examined most schools in the area for my daughter. You need to be careful about where you get your pre-reqs in the Boston area. Most of the nursing programs are very picky where you get the classes from. Check and make sure you schools of choice accept the classes. You might be surprised.
Thanks, I'm only applying to one program and have checked they will accept pre reqs from any regionally accredited university. I'm asking about local community colleges mostly
here is a site that lists all college programs in MA.
Make sure your college is NATIONALLY ACCREDITED. I know the school probably won't tell you this but many facilities are only hiring BSN new grads. Beverly Hospital only accepts BSN grads to their new grad orientation/intern program. Massachusetts also keeps track of nursing schools rate of passing NCLEX (well actually all states do)...it is also good to see your schools pass rate.
