Can any of you recommend any good books about working the night shift??

I placed my order for it and will let you know if it is any good. I am trying to build a useful library at work and hope to find some helpful resources. It looks like I will be back and forth from nights to days for the summer.

Read a good article in a nursing magazine about shift work and night duty and tehy ercommended eating apples to stay awake. Apparently apples don't give you the high that coffee does but it lasts longer.

BTW: apples are supposed to be one of the foods that cause its consumers to produce rather high amounts of flatulence. So, don't stand near any open flames on your night shifts, gwenith.
